The Wizard Of Oz Atlanta reviews
Wizard of Oz - uncomfortable
Our seats were in Section D Row 11, seats 11 and 12. I understood that all seats in the Windermere Theatre were unobstructed but there was a lot of action throughout the production that took place on stage left we were unable to see. In addition to the obstruction the seats were part of a curveature of some sort and were extremely tight. I know the seats in the Toyota Center are not the most spacious and comfortable, but I attend plenty of concerts and hockey games, and have NEVER had such uncomfortable seats. I appreciate the events that we have been fortunate to have in the Tri-Cities, but I am very reluctant about purchasing tickets in the Windermere Theatre again. I appreciate your attention to my concerns and hope others do not have the same experience we had. Concessions were also a complete nightmare and the people working behind the counters were clueless.
Where was the Wizard? Not in Staten Island...
I just don't understand how so many people wrote such positive reviews this play.
I am an avid fan of Broadway, Off Broadway and Off Off Broadway and I have never felt like I did when I left the show.
First I understand that this was more focused on the children to be entertained but OMG.......... This was a tragedy.........
Second, the company or show may have a certain budget, but when I see two of the characters posing as Glinda and then Auntie M and then Wizard and a guard, something is wrong. I know i am nitpicking but, I was terribly devastated by the whole show. I brought my 3 children , wife and myself and felt like I got nothing out of the show. Was not entertained whatsoever.
I am sorry if I am 1 out of 500 reviews that was disappointed.
